We have been walking! One January Saturday, seven of us and two dogs set off for Guiting Power. Driving there was something of a challenge as we took a wrong turn down a long single-track road. Sorry drivers, bad map on my part. However, once there we had a lovely walk in nippy but dry weather.

The route took us along well-made tracks, uphill through woods and turning to follow a stream, before retracing our steps along the tracks. The five miles took us about two hours. It’s a good walk for this time of year as there is not too much mud. Guiting Power is in the heart of the Cotswolds with some stunning views, which we all enjoyed.
